Shipping & Delivery Policy

  • What are the delivery charges?

  • This portal is ONDC Compliance as per GOI norms assigned for operating e-commerce portal.

    At www.khadiindia.gov.in, we aim to deliver products with great safety and within the scheduled delivery time to your doorstep, and we ship through reputed courier companies.

  • Why does the delivery date not correspond to the delivery timeline of X-Y business days?

  • It is possible that the Seller or our courier partners have a holiday between the day you place your order and the date of delivery, which is based on the timelines shown on the product page. In this case, we add a day to the estimated date. Some courier partners and Sellers do not work on Sundays, and this is factored into the delivery dates.

  • What is the estimated delivery time?

  • Sellers generally procure and ship the items within the time specified on the product page. Business days exclude public holidays and Sundays.

    Estimated delivery time depends on the following factors:

    • The Seller offering the product
    • Product's availability with the Seller
    • The destination to which you want the order shipped to and location of the Seller.
  • Why does the estimated delivery time vary for each seller?

  • You have probably noticed varying estimated delivery times for sellers of the product you are interested in. Delivery times are influenced by product availability, geographic location of the Seller, your shipping destination and the courier partner's time-to-deliver in your location.

  • Seller does not/cannot ship to my area. Why?

  • Please enter your delivery pin code on the product page to know whether the product can be delivered to your location.

    If you haven't provided your pin code until the checkout stage, the pin code in your shipping address will be used to check for serviceability.

    Whether your location can be serviced or not depends on

    • Whether the Seller ships to your location
    • Legal restrictions, if any, in shipping particular products to your location
    • The availability of reliable courier partners in your location

    At times Sellers prefer not to ship to certain locations. This is entirely at their discretion.

  • Why is the COD option not offered in my location?

  • Currently, we only have digital modes of payment. Cash-on-Delivery will reflect on our website as soon as we have it as an option.

  • I need to return an item; how do I arrange for a pick-up?

  • Returns are easy. Contact Us to initiate a return. You will receive a call explaining the process, once you have initiated a return.

    Wherever possible our Logistics partner will facilitate the pick-up of the item. In case, the pick-up cannot be arranged through our logistic partner, you can return the item through a third-party courier service. Return fees are borne by the Seller.

  • I did not receive my order but got a delivery confirmation SMS/Email.

  • In case the product was not delivered, and you received a delivery confirmation email/SMS, report the issue immediately or in 2 days from the date of delivery confirmation for the seller to investigate.

  • What do the different tags like "In Stock", "Available" mean?

  • 'In Stock' - For items listed as "In Stock", Sellers will mention the delivery time based on your location pin code (usually 2-3 business days, 4-5 business days or 4-6 business days in areas where standard courier service is available). For other areas, orders will be sent by Registered Post through the Indian Postal Service which may take 1-2 weeks depending on the location.

    'Out of Stock' - Currently, the item is not available for sale. Use the 'Bulk order Enquiry' feature to know once it is available for purchase.

  • Does khadiindia.gov.in deliver internationally?

  • Currently we don’t provide international delivery. However, we are working towards expanding our services in the near further. For now, our products can be purchased and delivered only within india.For more details, please contact our support@khadiindia.gov.in

Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

Khadi Gramodyog bhavan, Khadi & Village Industries Commission, Government of India endeavours to ensure that every transaction at our website is seamless. We take great care in delivering our products and adhere to the highest quality standards. In the odd case that you do not agree our products; here is our policy on returns:

In the unlikely event that your product arrives damaged, defective or different/wrong item, to return or exchange a product or report damage in transit within the applicable return window, please get in touch with our Customer Care within 48 hours of delivery:

  • By telephone at “+91-9211997801” between 10.00 AM to 6.00 PM IST (Monday to Saturday).
  • Drop us email at support@khadiindia.gov.in with your order number, date of transaction, delivery address and image of the wrongfully delivered or defective item.
  • Khadi India must receive and approve your return request. Once your request is received and approved, Khadi India arrange for a return pick up at an agreed time.
  • Once your return has been authorized, we'd be happy to process your exchange/refund. You can exchange this item for a different size/colour or return for a refund. You can choose to receive the refund in the form of credit for your convenience, which will reflect in your Khadi pay account after we receive the item and it has gone through the necessary quality checks. However, If you'd like to receive the amount back to the same payment mode that you used to place this order, Khadi India initiate the refund after we receive the item, and it has gone through the necessary quality checks.
  • Please keep the item in its original condition, with user manual, warranty cards, and original toys in manufacturer packaging for a successful return pick-up.
  • We aim to process all refund within 7 working days.
  • In case you have purchased an item which has a gift/offer associated with it and you wish to return the main item, then you will have to return the free product as well.
  • All returns are subject to the discretion of Khadi India.

Cancellations

To cancel items that aren't dispatched yet:

  • Go to My Account and then click on Order History
  • Select the item you want to cancel and click Cancel items or call us at “+91-9211997801” between 10.00 AM to 6.00 PM IST (Monday to Saturday)

    Note: Your order will be cancelled instantly and if the payment was already made, you can choose to receive the refund in the form of credit for your convenience, which will reflect in your Khadi pay account. However, If you'd like to receive the amount back to the same payment mode that you used to place this order, Khadi Gramodyog Bhavan New Delhi initiate the refund in the same mode.

    If your order has already been dispatched: In case of non-returnable products, product once dispatched can’t be cancelled, However, in case of returnable items please select the Request cancellation option or call us at (+91-9211997801) 2 between 10.00 AM to 6.00 PM IST and the item(s) will be returned to us for a refund (if the payment is already made).

    If your order is already delivered: You may consider returning it. Please check our return policy.
